When communities face hardship, showing up matters. The Chuchu Benz Foundation is preparing to support disaster-relief efforts in Jamaica, bringing together people, resources, and compassion to help those facing urgent needs.

Jamaica already holds an important place in the Foundation’s story. As we prepare for our September 19 “Giving Back to the Kids” community event, we’re also reminded that service means responding when circumstances change and people need help most.

Our approach is simple: listen to the people on the ground, understand what is genuinely needed, and help where we can make a meaningful difference. Whether that means essential supplies, direct community support, or helping connect resources with the people who need them, we want our response to be practical, responsible, and rooted in compassion.

For Chuchu Benz, helping people has never been about waiting for the perfect moment or having everything figured out. It has always been about seeing a need and finding a way to help. That spirit is at the heart of the Foundation and guides the work we are building today.

The Chuchu Benz Foundation was created to take that lifelong instinct to give back and turn it into something that can reach more people, strengthen more communities, and continue long into the future.

How You Can Help

As we prepare to respond, support from donors, volunteers, partners, and friends of the Foundation can help us provide resources where they are needed most. Contributions designated for disaster relief will be tracked as part of our working financial plan so we can clearly account for how those funds are used.

We’re still a young Foundation, and we believe earning trust matters just as much as asking for support. We’re committed to responsible financial management, clear recordkeeping, and keeping our supporters informed as this effort develops.

This is only the beginning of the work we hope to do. From our first community initiative in Trench Town to future humanitarian and disaster-relief efforts across Jamaica, Anguilla, and beyond, we are building the Foundation one act of service at a time.
